Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify 2026+ market disruptions and paradigm shifts
- Develop scenario models for climate-adaptive infrastructure and post-scarcity economies
- Lead cross-functional sprints with neurotech and synthetic biology teams
- Design ethical frameworks for AI governance and human augmentation protocols
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers published in Nature Futures journal
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful trend-to-product pipelines
- Expertise in predictive analytics tools (e.g., Palantir, Metaculus)
- Published work on AI existential risk or circular economy models
- Fluency in at least one predictive programming language (Python/R)
- Experience with foresight methodologies like Delphi or Horizon Scanning
