Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market opportunities across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact trend briefings and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to future-proof R&D pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-cultural shifts to anticipate systemic risks and opportunities
- Champion ethical innovation principles while accelerating commercialization of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex, interconnected futures
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (whitepapers, journals)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with data-driven storytelling skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF) or equivalent advanced training
