Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-cultural shifts to forecast industry evolution through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable strategic initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and predictive intelligence reports for C-suite stakeholders
- Identify high-impact innovation opportunities across emerging markets and verticals
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum systems)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Experience with strategic frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
- Global perspective with cross-cultural collaboration experience
