Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Produce quarterly trend briefings for executive stakeholders and product teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Architect innovation pipelines aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Present strategic recommendations at industry conferences and investor forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight methodology documentation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Published research on disruptive technology adoption patterns
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Experience building C-suite strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario development projects
