Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural shifts to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate adaptation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for Fortune 100 clients and government agencies
- Curate emerging tech partnerships with blockchain, biotech, and space exploration startups
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders Academy rotational program
- Represent the company at Davos, CES, and global innovation summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or innovation management with Fortune 500 exposure
- Published author in foresight journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and causal layered analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision implementations
- Proficiency in trend visualization tools (e.g., Palantir, Tableau)
- Clearance for government-level scenario planning projects
- Fluency in English with additional language proficiency (Mandarin/Spanish preferred)
