- Analyze emerging tech and societal trends to build 5-year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for 2026 market gaps
- Present executive-level trend briefings and innovation roadmaps quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Drive adoption of future-ready methodologies across organizational units
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Quantify innovation ROI through predictive modeling and KPI tracking
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 impact
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Strong academic background in futures studies, systems thinking, or related fields
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Experience building innovation pipelines in tech or biotech sectors
- Strategic certification (e.g., CFIP, CFA) preferred
