Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario modeling and impact assessments
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for cross-functional teams using design thinking and futures methodologies
- Author compelling thought leadership publications and presentations on future trends and disruption
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Drive strategic initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and disruption mapping methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience facilitating executive-level workshops and influencing strategic decision-making
- Portfolio of published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Fluency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, backcasting)
