Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological breakthroughs, and societal shifts to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into organizational DNA
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities through quantitative/qualitative research
- Partner with R&D to integrate futuristic technologies into core business models
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Strong network with futurist communities and academic institutions
