Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps by synthesizing exponential technology trends (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype disruptive solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Produce quarterly horizon-scanning reports with strategic recommendations for C-suite executives
- Design and execute scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of innovation partners across academic institutions and startups
- Mentor junior futurists through our proprietary 'Anticipatory Design' methodology
- Present strategic foresight findings at global innovation forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in corporate innovation strategy or technology foresight
- Proven track record of launching products/services based on future trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and strategic foresight frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from University of Houston Foresight program)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future outlooks or implemented innovation initiatives
