Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to identify emerging technology trends and disruptive market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into scalable business models and product roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation innovations in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Author visionary thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote presentations) for industry forums and executive audiences
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Quantify future market opportunities through scenario planning and predictive analytics
- Advose C-suite on strategic investments in emerging technologies with 5-10 year horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products or services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or technology disruption
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, Innovation Management, or equivalent field
- Experience with strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and global stakeholders
