Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and socio-economic trends to forecast industry disruptions through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients navigating digital transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing innovation priorities
- Author thought leadership reports published in journals like MIT Technology Review
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated market needs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and trend analysis
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting or innovation roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Portfolio of published foresight reports or strategic foresight projects
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrix analysis)
- Experience advising on ESG and sustainability futures
