Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends with 3-7 year impact
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on technological and societal disruptions
- Design strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations (quantum, bio-convergence, AGI)
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future-focused R&D investments
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global innovation forums
- Establish cross-functional innovation councils to embed foresight into product development
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and economic megatrends affecting 2026 business landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
