Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, etc.) to forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development cycles
- Partner with R&D teams to evaluate emerging technologies for commercial viability
- Author thought leadership reports and scenario planning documents for executive decision-making
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive organizational change initiatives to embed future-ready capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with tech-forward companies
- Proven track record in scenario planning and trend analysis for 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
