Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainability domains
- Develop future scenario models and strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030 market landscapes
- Facilitate executive workshops on emerging technology implications and risk mitigation
- Author white papers and thought leadership content on disruptive innovation patterns
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into development roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors with data-backed narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and commercializing emerging trends
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Trend Hunter, Futures Platform, or custom analytics suites
