Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026 product roadmaps using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Facilitate executive workshops on emerging tech implications (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Author quarterly foresight reports with data-driven predictions and strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futures research with tech focus
- Proven expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trends (GenAI, Web3, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios to stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation strategy impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
