Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech and cultural trends to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize moonshot projects with 2026 market impact
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend briefs for industry thought leadership
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with innovation labs and research institutions
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing user experiences and infrastructure
- Develop KPI frameworks for measuring innovation maturity and adoption readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in tech/business publications
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within Fortune 500 companies
