Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast global technological, social, and economic trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, biotech convergence, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business models
- Produce horizon-scanning reports and trend briefings for executive decision-making
- Design and facilitate future-thinking workshops with internal and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product roadmaps and patent strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., APF, WFS) or innovation methodologies
