Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework mapping emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to market opportunities through 2030
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive threats and innovation pathways for 2026 product roadmaps
- Produce strategic white papers and executive briefings on future technology adoption curves and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to evaluate and integrate breakthrough technologies into our innovation pipeline
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions, government bodies, and emerging tech startups
- Present future outlooks to investors, board members, and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with strong academic credentials
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future outlooks or technology roadmaps
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
