Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps for AI, biotech, and climate tech sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and market disruptions
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and nurture breakthrough startups
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and investor committees
- Publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals and industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of mapping technology adoption curves
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio published in Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Experience with patent analysis and technology valuation frameworks
