Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Develop future scenario models and strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030 implementation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype disruptive solutions
- Present future insights to executive stakeholders and translate complex trends into actionable strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for C-suite leadership teams
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon Labs as a future authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience leading high-impact transformation initiatives
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, economic, and technological megatrends
