Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends to develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Deliver executive briefings on disruptive market forces and competitive threats
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author quarterly horizon scanning reports for board and investor audiences
- Drive cultural adoption of future-thinking methodologies across all departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption (provide case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-proofing initiatives
