You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D labs, and global partners to identify disruptive opportunities before they enter the mainstream. This isn't just about predicting the future—it's about actively creating it.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, and economic domains to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and impact assessments
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies for product development and market positioning
- Present insights to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Drive innovation workshops to challenge assumptions and foster future-oriented thinking
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech and societal transformation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D with demonstrated impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech) and their societal implications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, SWOT, STEEP analysis) and trend mapping tools
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting to C-level executives
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or strategic foresight projects
- Deep understanding of global megatrends affecting 2026+ business landscapes
