Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and social dynamics to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 clients navigating exponential change
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions and innovation roadmaps
- Quantify future market risks/opportunities using predictive modeling and foresight methodologies
- Author whitepapers and executive briefs on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Advocate for ethical innovation and responsible technology adoption in strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating futures research projects and published foresight work
