Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive foresight research and trend analysis across technology, society, and markets
- Develop and maintain a multi-year innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 strategic objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product development
- Build and cultivate relationships with external experts, research institutions, and innovation partners
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify emerging opportunities for differentiation
- Create future scenarios and strategic options to prepare for multiple possible futures
- Drive organizational culture of innovation through thought leadership and mentorship
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of developing and executing innovation strategies for 2026+ horizons
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal trends
- Exceptional analytical and synthesis skills with ability to translate complexity into clarity
- Experience with foresight methodologies including horizon scanning, scenario planning, and Delphi techniques
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
