Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into R&D priorities
- Produce forward-looking thought leadership reports and stakeholder briefings
- Establish horizon scanning frameworks to monitor weak signals and early trend indicators
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate emerging startups and partnerships
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field with 7+ years experience
- Proven track record of predicting industry disruptions with documented case studies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Data fluency in trend visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and forecasting models
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight work applied to real-world business challenges
