Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI agents, quantum algorithms, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, and space exploration sectors
- Present strategic futures scenarios to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and resource allocation for R&D initiatives
- Drive adoption of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies (AI/quantum/biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Fluency in emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
