Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats through 2030
- Develop and implement scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-focused solutions and business models
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and translate into actionable strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain an external ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Drive organizational adoption of foresight methodologies and innovation best practices
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies' commercial viability and ethical implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-leading products or ventures
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Experience scaling innovation processes in enterprise environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
