Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing and decentralized systems
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions (AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders including NASA and WHO
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, DeepMind, and other future-focused institutions
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and researchers in next-gen tech development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with proven 2025+ planning success
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum, neurotech, or climate AI
- Published research in Nature/Science on future technology implications
- Experience scaling solutions from prototype to global deployment
- Certified in Quantum Computing Architecture (QCA) and Neural Interface Design
- Exceptional ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
