Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of next-generation technologies targeting 2026 market readiness
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate innovation into corporate strategy
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers and researchers
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Secure patents and protect intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, advanced materials, or biotech
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong background in technology forecasting and market analysis
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
