Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and industry 4.0 principles
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating AI, blockchain, and IoT into enterprise ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and quantum-resistant security protocols
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and agile transformation
- Secure patents and publish white papers on future technology applications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., AI adoption curves, quantum commercialization)
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and exponential technology assessment
- Certification in emerging tech domains (e.g., AWS ML Specialist, IBM Quantum Network)
- Prior experience launching at least one paradigm-shifting technology initiative
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent thought leadership credentials
- Portfolio demonstrating technology strategy implementations valued at $50M+
