- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech innovations into 5-year product development cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage technology adoption
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors with ROI projections
- Build and lead a Future Technology incubation team focusing on moonshot projects
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies to ensure sustainable innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech roadmapping
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Executive-level experience in Fortune 500 or Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published thought leadership on tech disruption (patents, whitepapers, keynotes)
- Experience navigating regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EPA)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
