- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present future technology scenarios to executive stakeholders and boards
- Manage innovation portfolios with ROI projections exceeding 200%
- Champion ethical tech adoption frameworks for responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven 5+ year roadmap delivery
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Executive-level presentation skills with board experience
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (minimum 3 industry publications)
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$100M
