Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (2026-2030) with competitive analysis
- Architect scalable infrastructure for decentralized systems and metaverse ecosystems
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on technology ROI scenarios
- Manage innovation pipeline with stage-gate processes from ideation to commercialization
- Partner with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) for joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, bio-integrated systems, or decentralized networks
- Proven track record of launching technology products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Certifications in Futures Studies, Technology Foresight, or equivalent strategic planning frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation management
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate innovation funding
- Portfolio demonstrating technology trend analysis and scenario planning artifacts
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to stakeholders
