Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 business objectives and market demands
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech into customer-facing solutions
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption ROI and innovation success
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and data science teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech domains
- Represent the company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy with tech focus
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (Python, Tableau, SPSS) for trend forecasting
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering C-level briefings
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
