Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 5-10 year market potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives bridging R&D, product, and executive teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Drive pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with global impact potential
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking with systems-level perspective
- Experience building and managing high-performing technical teams
- Prior success securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
