Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with ESG principles and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven ROI projections
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with rigorous KPI tracking and agile resource allocation
- Author thought leadership publications and represent company at global tech summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years experience in technology consulting, corporate strategy, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive presence with demonstrated success influencing C-suite decisions
