Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech fusion, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Develop KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption readiness
- Partner with R&D teams to align commercialization timelines with future market needs
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build and mentor a future technologies task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles (consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, climate)
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight publications
- Experience with agile development methodologies for innovation
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management
