Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation priorities
- Analyze emerging tech patents and market trends to identify first-mover advantages
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on future tech viability
- Manage a $5M innovation budget for prototype development and pilot programs
- Author quarterly 'Future Tech Pulse' reports distributed to industry leaders
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists in trend synthesis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (e.g., AI adoption curves)
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and predictive modeling
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment preferred
