Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum AI, bio-integrated interfaces, and climate-positive tech
- Partner with VCs and startups to identify and acquire breakthrough innovations
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural network governance
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and international tech councils
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in rapid prototyping and agile development
- Monitor global tech policy shifts to inform strategic pivots
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 3+ years in future-tech roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from lab to market
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Deep understanding of global tech policy (EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
