Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, AI ethics, sustainable tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and key stakeholders for funding approval
- Partner with academic institutions to shape future tech curricula and research priorities
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting long-term tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with portfolio of 2025+ projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI governance)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience scaling global R&D operations across 3+ continents
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
