Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for quantum computing and AI applications
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (biotech, nanotech, space tech)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Champion ethical technology frameworks for next-gen deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
