Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling future-focused initiatives
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI implementation and sustainable innovation
- Partner with R&D to accelerate lab-to-market cycles for breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least three future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, etc.)
- Certification in futures thinking (e.g., CFTR, WFS) or advanced degree in strategic foresight
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive change in matrix organizations
