Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and inventory.
- Assist customers in navigating the store, locating specific products, and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Perform regular store upkeep, including restocking shelves, folding merchandise, and maintaining a clean sales floor.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to meet individual and team sales targets.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak weekend periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) technology.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
