Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ AI roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and generative AI breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and deploy AI solutions for healthcare, climate tech, and autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Design ethical AI governance frameworks for next-generation autonomous decision systems
- Secure $2M+ in R&D funding by pitching visionary innovation projects to investors
- Publish whitepapers on AI's societal impact in 2026 and beyond
- Mentor junior researchers in applied AI research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in AI/ML, Computer Science, or Futurology with 5+ years applied research experience
- Proven track record in deploying production AI systems at scale (TensorFlow/PyTorch expertise required)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and neuromorphic hardware
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with ability to articulate complex visions to C-suite stakeholders
- Published research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating work on generative AI or autonomous systems
