Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future capabilities into 3-5 year product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track progress toward 2026 strategic milestones
- Present vision frameworks to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget for R&D and strategic partnerships
- Mentor junior architects in future-tech methodologies and foresight techniques
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with 5+ years in innovation/futurism roles
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in AI, IoT, and next-gen infrastructure paradigms
- Exceptional strategic planning with ability to articulate complex futures simply
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, patents, keynotes)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
