Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Forecast market disruptions using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D grants through compelling future-vision proposals
- Author industry-defining whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Mentor PhD researchers in emerging technology adoption strategies
- Partner with VCs to identify and acquire disruptive startups
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic bio)
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions with >80% accuracy
