Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives mapping technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-based models for disruptive innovations (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee cross-functional research teams conducting horizon scanning
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future-proofing organizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Integrate futures thinking into product roadmaps and business strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on emerging technologies or societal megatrends
- Proven track record translating foresight into organizational strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend forecasting preferred
