Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic vision roadmap through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and digital transformation domains
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for the board and executive team on emerging disruptors and opportunities
- Design and implement early-warning systems for market shifts, regulatory changes, and technological discontinuities
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments aligned with 2026 market projections
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic narratives to investors and stakeholders to secure buy-in for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and futures methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Economics, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Experience with data visualization tools and strategic modeling software
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year strategic implementations
