As a thought leader in our Future Horizons division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global think tanks to identify paradigm shifts before they happen. Your work will directly influence product roadmaps, investment strategies, and policy frameworks that will define the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future projections into actionable business strategies
- Produce executive-level trend reports and white papers on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advortise Fortune 500 clients on disruptive market shifts and innovation opportunities
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design and implement strategic resilience programs for organizations facing technological disruption
- Present future outlooks at international conferences and executive summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend mapping, and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, clean energy)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholder management experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ years of published trend analysis or strategic foresight work
