Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and market disruptions to build 2026+ strategic foresight models
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience in volatile future environments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on long-term vision and innovation priorities
- Produce executive-level trend reports and strategic recommendations for board review
- Design and implement horizon-scanning systems for early identification of transformative opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering executive-level strategic briefings
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related strategic discipline
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation in complex organizations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIF, APF) strongly preferred
